Painesville, OH – ERIEBANK, a division of CNB Bank, is pleased to announce a charitable contribution to HOLA Ohio in the amount of $15,000 to support the necessary construction that will allow the HOLA Hispanic Community Center to become a cornerstone of the community. This commitment supports ERIEBANK’s mission to serve the continued growth and well-being of the areas in which they operate.
“For ERIEBANK, community involvement goes well beyond our goal to offer high-quality banking products and services in Lake County,” said Wesley Gillespie, Regional President of ERIEBANK. “We’re proud to help sponsor the development of a vibrant community space that will offer support for entrepreneurs and small businesses and serve as a cultural hub for the region.”
HOLA Ohio’s mission is to empower the Latino community through education, outreach, community organizing, and leadership development. Through this partnership, ERIEBANK is proud to help meet the diverse needs of Northeast Ohio’s Latino and immigrant communities. The community center will offer workforce development opportunities, adult education including GED and ESL services, arts and culture programming, and will serve as a commercial kitchen incubator.
Since its inception, the community has raised more than $830,000 for the construction of the new community center. The space provided by the new community center will enhance HOLA’s ability to meet the needs of a growing number of community-serving organizations that seek to collaborate with HOLA and connect with the Latino community
