Twelve winners were selected out of over one hundred “Americana” photographs submitted in the 2018 ERIEBANK wall calendar contest. The calendar has become a customer favorite, and beginning in November, ERIEBANK associates will be providing these revered calendars to thousands of customers throughout northwestern Pennsylvania and Northeastern Ohio.
For the past two months, residents, from amateur to professional photographers, have been providing their favorite Americana photos to ERIEBANK’s online calendar contest at www.ERIEBANK.bank. The deadline for submission was Sunday, August 6 and the difficult task of selecting twelve winners ensued.
The photograph awarded Best of Show will be featured on the front cover. This cherished position was awarded to Vicki Kidder-Clark of Seneca, PA. Not only will her photo, entitled “Conneaut Lake Carousel”, be featured on the cover of the 2018 wall calendars, but will also be featured the month of August.
The other eleven months of the year will feature photographs submitted by Dan Bickel of Cochranton, Marie Hanaway of Conneaut Lake, Rick Baker, Patty Hall, and Jane McNally of Erie, Ray Shook, Jr. of Franklin, Jennifer McCarl of Guys Mills, Michael Orlando of McKean, Shannon Roae of Meadville, and Carl Leichtenberger of Pittsfield.
In addition, 24 photographs earned honorable mention and will be displayed on a special page of the calendar. Those photographs were submitted by Margaret Bernecky, Richard Clark, Missy Dabolt, Kennedie Ebersole, Brandi Kophazy, Chuck Lawrence, Bob Massung, Jennifer McCarl, Jane McNally, Bernadette Mleczko, Julie Norr, Michael Orlando, Roberta Patton-Mahannah, Bart Phlip, Renee Rice, Wendy Ryan, Bill Simbeck, Ronald Stitt, Carolyn Taylor, and the Seagertown Heritage Society.
ERIEBANK wishes to thank all the individuals who continue to make this calendar so popular among its customers. ERIEBANK initiated this contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities in which the Bank serves through the eyes of residents as they’ve captured with their camera.
Calendars will be available to pick up at any ERIEBANK office location beginning in November.
