David Zimmer, President of ERIEBANK, recently announced the promotion of Carla Higgins to Assistant Vice President/Quality Assurance Manager, and Allison Hodas, CTP to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banking.
As Quality Assurance Manager, Ms. Higgins will take on the newly developed position by overseeing the Customer Service Center and ensuring the Bank’s customer service systems, tracking and measurement, standards, reporting and monitoring are in alignment with corporate strategic goals.  
Ms. Hodas will join the commercial lending division at ERIEBANK and will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with businesses of all sizes including all commercial credit needs. 
“I am confident that Carla will apply her experience with both retail and commercial client service in this new important role to positively affect bank-wide customer experiences,” said Mr. Zimmer.  “And Allison is a perfect fit in our commercial lending team with her years of experience in treasury services.  Both are sure to excel in their new positions and create a positive impact for our customers.”
higgins headshotMs. Higgins joined ERIEBANK as a Community Office Assistant Manager in 2006 and has since held the positions of Community Office Manager, Assistant Vice President/Regional Retail Administrator, and Assistant Vice President/Commercial Banking.  
Raised in Erie, Ms. Higgins is a 1997 graduate of Mercyhurst Preparatory School and earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Edinboro University in 2003.  She continued her education by attending Gannon University and obtained a Masters of Business Administration in 2010.  Carla is also a 2017 graduate of CNB Financial Corporation’s Leadership Institute.
Carla currently resides in Erie with her husband, Mike, and two children, Alexis and Anthony.  She volunteers her time serving the community on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for VisitErie, a mentor for the Athena PowerLink Program and for Edinboro University business students, a Founding Board Member of the Lake Erie Ale Trail, and Business Advisory Board Member for Edinboro University.
hodas headshotMs. Hodas joined ERIEBANK as a Universal Associate in December 2007 and has since held the positions of Cash Management Specialist, Treasury Services Officer, and most recently as Assistant Vice President/Treasury Services. 
A native of Erie, Allison graduated from Villa Maria Academy in 2002 prior to earning her B.A. in Communication Arts from Allegheny College in 2005.  In July 2015, she earned the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation from the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).  The CTP designation is awarded to individuals who demonstrate the highest level of expertise and distinction in treasury management.  Allison is also a 2017 graduate of CNB Financial Corporation’s Leadership Institute.
Allison currently resides in Erie with her husband, Matthew, and two children, AJ and MJ.  She volunteers her time serving the community as the secretary of the Board of Directors at Opportunities Unlimited of Erie.  She also serves on the Mariner’s Ball planning committee and as a committee member for the Annual Catholic Charities Ball. 
Allison participates in many local charitable events, to include Bowl for Kids Sake, Bowl for Diabetes, Relay for Life, Spelling Bee for Books for Kids, and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.  Additionally, she is an Erie Ambassador and a member of the Athena Circle of Trust, a cohort of emerging female leaders who empower each other to develop executive and leadership skills and advocate for one another as leaders in the Erie Community.
